The advertisement campaign of Chesterfield used to feature a famous young model Leona Helmsley during the 1940. Chesterfield is also known for its famous advertisement slogan ‘a silly millimeter longer’ which was on air when its ‘101’ cigarette was launched. Since the cigarette was longer by a millimeter than the competitors 100 millimeter length, hence the slogan in the advertisement campaign.
